Now did I take great pictures of this place? Perhaps not but since I’ll be going back at least on a weekly basis I’ll update that soon enough. I think the pastel de nata is one of mankind’s finest inventions- I love a dessert that’s also egg so I was very excited to hear this place had a good one. When I entered however I was met by a beautiful pastry case stuffed with lots of beautiful things so I also got two other pastries. I LOVED the service because the guy was truly not happy anyone was in there which is fair and I greatly respect how he answered my questions even if all he told me about the other pastries was ‘sponge’ and ‘coconut’. It was really all I needed to know. Cost of three was only six pounds and it was a damn steal because not only was the pastel de nata flaky and eggy greatness but coconut and sponge really came to play. The sponge turned out to be a heavenly creation with custard smothered over it, coconut around the sides and a cherry on top. I really don’t know how to describe the coconut one differently than he did but it was maybe my favorite of the three. My photo doesn’t do them justice but currently this is my favorite London bakery. They had two other shops it looked like so I’ll have to check those out too when I’m not I’m working my way through everything else in the pastry case. Anyway, go here. Get the sponge. And the coconut.

I've been coming here for over 30 years.. Delicious pastries and coffee. I always go for the Pastel de Nata, (Traditional Portuguese custard tart) and the double latte as it's very strong. Always a good, lively atmosphere. Avoid Fridays and Saturdays as it's very difficult to get a table because of Portobello/Golbourne market.

Authentic Portuguese Cafe. Great pastries and sandwiches, cracking atmosphere, always packed. They must be doing something right! Check out their deli across the road. So much better than the so-called Portuguese cafe opposite.

We walked past this bakery and it immediately reminded us of the ones you see in Portugal. The pastries were absolutely delicious! We tried the pastel de nata (egg tart) and another one whose name I can’t remember, but both were amazing. The place was busy and it’s easy to see why everything tastes so yummy.

I've been going here for probably 30 years. Best Portuguese Cafe for food and drinks in what is a trendy part of London . Everything is made on the premises bakery, and their food and custard 🍮 tarts are simply the best. Also, there is a great Portuguese Delicatessen opposite .

If you want proper old school Portuguese experience this is the place to be. Amazing pastries and food, and old school coffee. If you want a fancy flat white you can pop over the road after you've picked up the best pastel de nata in London

Love the tart and the custard bun. The place is pretty big but they got pretty pack during the weekend. Want to eat in but choose to take away. Definitely come back if I’m visiting london again.

My brother has constantly raved about Lisboa, with its authentic Portuguese pastries and lovely coffee. And I confirm that this is the case. Although I will say that he may have downplayed one aspect, it was really really busy. All the tables were full, and there was a large line that extended to the door. It was a Saturday after all 😆. Highly recommend the Pastel Da Nata!

Fantastic, authentic pastries and baked goods. I used to come all the way from Cambridge as a student just to get their egg tarts. That's how good Lisboa is. Highly recommend it.

Have been looking to come here for a while! I dropped by at around 12pm and there was a small queue. Ordered 6 pasteles de nata (£1.85 each) + an apple and custard pastry (~£2) and all I can say is that the wait was definitely worth it! The pastel de nata are very full, the inside is a bit less cooked than usual but it's soo good and the pastry was nice and flaky! The apple tart was also very good! Atmosphere was lovely, when I stepped in, it kinda reminded me to those old cafes that you find in Portugal and the staff are super lovely! Will definitely be back :)

Very nice portugese establishment with affordable pastries. We had a hard time finding a place to sit. The queue is long but it is worth it. Fresh pastries coming out every hour . The coffee is nice as well. The staff tried their best to serve everyone but the customer is a lot.
